On May 13, 2025, the Common Package of Benefits of the Spanish National Health System (NHS) was amended. The med tech-related updates mostly concerned in-vitro diagnostics, gastrointestinal, e-Health, cardiovascular, ENT, ophthalmology, oral health, and neurology fields.

In May 2025, the Danish Health Authority proposed three key initiatives in the health reform that will future-proof the healthcare system, including the National Health Plan, the Task description for general practice services, and the Package pathway for people with chronic diseases. The Danish Health Authority expects to hand over the first assignments in the autumn of 2025. The new structure of the healthcare system is expected to come into force on January 1, 2027.

In March 2025, the Draft Order amending the Common Package of Benefits of the National Health System and some other related legislative orders were released for public consultation. The Draft Order focuses on updating public health and primary care services, expanding neonatal and cancer screenings, improving equity in access to in-vitro fertilization, refining rehabilitation definitions, including patients in genetic advisory bodies, and modifying the system for ortho-prosthetic products.

On November 22, 2024, the Danish Health Authority announced that it would change its organizational structure. This restructuring is expected to prepare the Danish Health Authority for Health Care Reform work and set a new framework for the work with public health. The organizational changes will take effect on January 1, 2025.

In September 2024, it was announced by the Danish Regions that according to the budget agreements for 2025, all regions have prioritized money to strengthen the local healthcare system (primary care) and ensure a robust hospital system and a continued high level of activity.

On October 18, 2023, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection (BMSGPK) announced that its budget would increase by 3.9 billion to 25.8 billion euros (by 18%) in the coming year. 1.1 billion euros from the budget will be allocated for the health care reform, which will be implemented as part of the financial equalization.

On November 18, 2022, the Innovation Committee at the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) announced the selection of twenty-eight project ideas for Innovation Funding of the new forms of care within the framework of the two-stage application process. A total of 114 project ideas were received in response to the funding announcement of March 3, 2022, and only twenty-eight were accepted.

On October 19, 2022, it was announced by the Ministry of Health that the 2023 General State Budget in the field of health would comprise €2,746.17 million, which is €199.32 million (7.83%) more than in 2022. The aim is to strengthen the National Health System (SNS) and achieve a more robust, more equitable, and more modern system capable of adapting to the population's health needs.

On May 20, 2022, the Innovation Committee at the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) reported that 114 project ideas were received for Innovation Funding of the new forms of care.

The 13 innovations joining the NHS Innovation Accelerator were announced on March 5, 2019, as part of an event to launch the fourth year of this award-winning national accelerator.

In early February 2019, the network of European HTA agencies, EUnetHTA, announced the final report of the project OTCA12 “C-reactive protein point-of-care testing (CRP POCT) to guide antibiotic prescribing in primary care settings for acute respiratory tract infections (RTIs)”.

The NHS Long Term Plan, released on 7th of January 2019, will save almost half a million more lives with practical action on significant killer conditions and investment in world-class, cutting edge treatments including genomic tests for every child with cancer. Local NHS allocated £570 billion to fund the NHS Long Term Plan.
