The G-BA Innovation Committee recommends transfer to standard care for another four completed projects in Germany

In mid-August 2024, the Innovation Committee at the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) published the decisions recommending the transfer to standard care for another four completed projects. The projects were dedicated to the topics of support for families with a parent suffering from cancer, modeling routine risk screening in children, reducing problematic media use, promoting treatment motivation in people with computer game addiction and Internet addiction, and follow-up care for gestational diabetes.

In late June – mid-July 2024, the Innovation Committee at the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) published the decisions recommending the transfer to standard care for another three completed projects. The projects were dedicated to the topics of care concept for patients with hidradenitis suppurativa (acne inversa), the use of webcams in neonatal intensive care units, and improving the pharmacovigilance of innovative therapies.

On May 17, 2024, the Innovation Committee at the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) published the decisions recommending the transfer to standard care for another three completed projects. The projects were dedicated to the topics of booster vaccination against meningococci of serogroup C, reduction of antibiotic resistance, and dual pilot structure for diagnosis clarification in centers for rare diseases.

Decree relating to the RIHN framework reform published in France

On March 31, 2024, the Ministry of Labor, Health, and Solidarity published a Decree in the Official Journal of the French Republic relating to the conditions of coverage of innovative IVD tests within the RIHN framework, which should facilitate the transition from the RIHN framework to regular reimbursement via the NABM Nomenclature.
