Services of MTRC

MTRC is expanding its service offering to pharma companies. The scope of the services includes reimbursement analysis and strategy for hospital (high cost) drugs, cell and gene therapies, companion diagnostics, drug delivery systems and e-health solutions.

The seminar includes overview of topics of reimbursement, funding, payment mechanisms for IVD tests in hospital, day case and out-patient settings, health technology assessment, innovation funding, role of clinical and economic evidence, stakeholder engagement. Data from 10 EU countries are used. The seminar is available as a pre-recorded on-demand webinar or full presentation in Acrobat PDF.

Technical overviews include details of application processes for procedure codes and payments (e.g. DRG), inclusion into health benefit catalogs. Overviews are available as presentations in Acrobat PDF.

Educational modules include an overview of key stakeholders, money flow, payment model for IVD tests in the ambulatory sector, the process of creation of reimbursement for novel IVD tests. The overview includes key stakeholders, money flow, the structure of the NHS Scotland, payment model in the system, the role of the Scottish National Tariff, Specialised Clinical Services, commissioning of services outside Scotland (in England and EU), the role of health technology assessment.

MTRC has released additional reimbursement overviews of hospital payment systems in European countries, including Greece, the Netherlands, Poland and Russia. In August-September 2019, the overviews for Belgium, Canada, Estonia, Turkey and USA are planned. Also, MTRC will shortly release the basic course on introduction into market access for IVD tests.

Seminars on hospital reimbursement system for the Netherlands and Russia were added to the online school, as well as the webinar for the Austrian system. MTRC online school is the most cost-effective way to learn about reimbursement systems in a structured way.

A syndicated report (>80 pages) includes the overview and statistics of 16 key innovation funding and coverage with evidence development schemes in seven European countries: Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland. The price of the report is €1600.
