MTRC has released a White Paper titled "Evidence requirements for medical devices in the “New methods” framework in Norway”. This White Paper provides an opportunity to learn about the evidence requirements related to the 'New Methods' framework from the 5 recent med tech assessments in Norway. The review is followed by recommendations on evidence generation and will be useful for medical device manufacturers seeking market access in Norway, as well as HTA professionals and policymakers interested in the Norwegian evaluation framework.

MTRC has released a White Paper titled "Innovation Funding (Forfait Innovation) for Medical Technologies in France”. This White Paper provides a comprehensive overview of the Innovation Funding (Forfait Innovation) program. It describes the scheme’s objectives, eligibility criteria, funding structure, and the decision-making process with regulated timelines. It also outlines the roles of stakeholders, clinical and economic evidence requirements, and the outcomes of applications since the program’s launch in 2015. In addition, this document presents a case study of the METAglut1 test, illustrating the pathway from Innovation Funding to permanent reimbursement inclusion under NABM.

MTRC has released a White Paper titled "Evidence Requirements for Non-IVD Diagnostic Technologies under NICE’s HealthTech Programme". This white paper reviews five assessments of non-IVD diagnostic technologies conducted under the former Diagnostics Assessment Programme (DAP) framework. Despite procedural changes, the case studies offer enduring insights into NICE’s evidence expectations and key factors influencing recommendation outcomes. These findings can help inform evidence generation strategies and support market access planning for similar technologies under the current HealthTech framework.
