New reimbursement application form for the List of implants and invasive medical devices in Belgium

On October 2, 2023, the Belgian National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance (INAMI-RIZIV), with the support of BeMedTech, held an information session in Brussels to introduce an updated application form for the inclusion of new devices to the List of implants and invasive medical devices. The form is now organized according to the PICO (Population-Intervention-Comparator-Outcome) principle to improve the readability of the application, highlight the comparator, and allow evidence-based decisions.

Two presentations from the information session (including the description of the application form) are now published on the INAMI-RIZIV website.
