New health technology assessments initiated in Switzerland
On October 20, 2023, the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) published six newly initiated health technology assessments, four of which relate to MedTech.
The following Med Tech topics are currently in development:
- Thermoablation for benign thyroid nodules;
- Bronchial thermoplasty for severe asthma;
- Superficial/deep heat in physiotherapy for musculoskeletal conditions;
- Physiotherapy for cervical spine syndrome.
