The Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Health Care (IQWiG) has published the rapid report for osteoporosis disease management program in April of 2018

In April of 2018, the Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Health Care (IQWiG) has published an update for the report V14-03 “Systematic guideline search and appraisal, as well as extraction of relevant recommendations, for a disease management program (DMP) for osteoporosis” from 2016. It was previously identified by IQWiG, that the topic of integrated concepts of medical and physical rehabilitation was missed. To fill in this gap, the IQWIG performed a search for relevant guidelines and recommendations and prepared an update of the report.

However, as in the previous version, the IQWiG did not find any new information on integrated concepts of medical and physical rehabilitation. Thus, no new information was identified and included into the report.

The previous V14-03 report can be seen in German here.
