Health Economic Publication Digest: A Comprehensive View of the Methods Used to Measure the Societal Impact of Healthcare Interventions: A Systematic Review

MTRC shares the most relevant and impactful publications in the field of market access and HEOR for medical technologies in Europe through its Health Economic Publications Digest. 

In a recent publication, Seddik et al. conducted a systematic review to map how the societal impact of healthcare interventions has been measured globally. The analysis of 159 studies revealed wide variation in frameworks and identified 42 recurrent concepts of societal value. The authors emphasized the need for methodological harmonization and standardized reporting frameworks to strengthen future evidence on societal value in healthcare.
