Based on a rapid review of economic evaluations published between 2012 and 2025, the authors proposed eight additional reporting elements to complement the STARD 2015 guideline (Standards for Reporting of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies). These include clearer reporting of diagnostic pathways, consequences of false results, disease prevalence, HRQoL, resource use, and considerations for AI-enabled tests. The proposed additions aim to improve the usability of DTA evidence in model-based economic evaluations and HTA decision-making.
