Publication Digest: Comprehensive policies for scaling systemic and equitable integration of digital health technologies

In a recent publication, Spreafico et al. examined international policy approaches to enable systemic and equitable integration of digital health technologies (DHTs). The authors identified five key enablers: defining DHTs within policy scope, preparing AI-ready regulatory frameworks, applying dynamic assessment criteria, introducing dedicated reimbursement models, and promoting evidence and guideline generation. Their analysis highlights that coordinated cross-border action and long-term investment are essential to reduce fragmentation and support scalable adoption of DHTs.
