2027 DRG applications are now accepted in Denmark

In February 2025, the Danish Health Data Authority (Sundhedsdatastyrelsen) opened the application period for modifications to the DRG logic, set to take effect on January 1, 2027.

Applications must be completed using the designated forms available on the Danish Health Data Authority's website and submitted via email to kliniskvalidering@sundhedsdata.dk. Separate application forms are required to propose a new DRG or modify/remove an existing one.

The submission deadline is October 31, 2025.
