In November 2023, the Danish Regions announced the launch of a national telemedicine solution for patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The telemedicine platform Telma, developed by regions and municipalities, comprises a software application for patients connected to devices measuring patients' clinical parameters (such as blood oxygen), which clinicians then assess remotely.

In November 2023, the Agency for Health Quality and Assessment of Catalonia (AQuAS) informed that the La Marató Foundation selected 36 cardiovascular projects together with eight other projects in a ranked reservation list to be funded.

On October 29, 2023, the Ministry of Health and Prevention published an Order in the Official Journal of the French Republic setting the tariffs for the medical telemonitoring activities covered within the early digital support scheme. The tariffs are set per patient based on the number of patients involved.

In October 2023, the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) in England released one MedTech-related assessment in its Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Journal concerned posterior cervical foraminotomy versus anterior cervical discectomy for cervical brachialgia. HTA Journal publishes research reports on the effectiveness, costs, and broader impact of health technologies for those who use, manage, and provide care in the NHS and informs National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance.

On November 1, 2023, thirteen new procedure codes came into force in the updated Finnish classification of procedures (THL). The introduced codes concerned diagnostic imaging, radiology, neurology, peripheral vascular, and other fields.
