In a recent publication, Bobini et al. conducted an international survey of health technology assessment (HTA) organizations across 20 countries to explore global progress in integrating environmental sustainability into HTA. The study found that although most organizations recognize the value of incorporating environmental sustainability, only a minority have implemented concrete strategies, with significant methodological diversity. The authors highlight both the current lack of standardized approaches and the key challenges faced, including data limitations and the need for interdisciplinary expertise.
