Strategic Plan of the RedETS 2022-2025 published in Spain

In March 2023, the Spanish Network of Health Technology and Services Assessment Agencies of the National Health System (RedETS) published its 2022-2025 Strategic Plan. The objective of the Plan is to define the main lines of the activities to be carried out and the decision criteria to be used during the 2022-2025 period in order to respond to the needs of the National Health System (SNS) and continue on the path of excellence.

The four main axes outlined in the Plan are:

• Governance and structure;
• Coverage of the needs of the SNS and the European scope;
• Participation;
• Transparency and communication.

The Plan is a reference in the comprehensive response to the evaluation needs related to the health of the population and will contribute to the efficiency, equity, and cohesion of the SNS, through the promotion and cooperation in HTA, at a national and European level.

Provision of information that supports decision-making, promotion of the culture of evaluation, and efficient response through networking are outlined as a mission. The key values include alignment with the priorities of the SNS and the health needs of the population, excellence, independence, transparency, cooperation, and participation.
