Norway: Responsibility for supervision of medical devices will be transferred from Norwegian Directorate of Health to the Norwegian Medicines Agency

The Norwegian Directorate of Health is a professional and supervisory authority for medical devices in Norway; it supervises products, manufacturers and other traders, as well as technical control bodies.

The transfer of responsibilities is in connection to newly adopted EU regulation for medical devices.
