A new framework agreement on the medical devices included in the LPPR was signed in France
On July 11, 2024, the Ministry of Labor, Health and Solidarity announced that the Economic Committee for Health Products (CEPS) and several organizations representing manufacturers (Snitem, UFAT, Entreprises de la Nutrition Clinique, and AFIDEO) signed a new framework agreement relating to the conventional policy for setting and revising the prices of products included in the list of products and services (LPPR) on July 2, 2024.
This framework agreement governs the relations between the CEPS and the members of the signatory professional organizations, specifically operators, manufacturers, or distributors. It aims to give economic actors visibility and facilitate tariff negotiations.
The framework agreement establishes a Conventional Policy Monitoring Committee (CSPC). Its purpose is to address any subject contributing to developing the conventional policy for products and services listed in the LPPR. The CSPC will meet at least twice a year, with the first meeting in September 2024.
This agreement is applicable for three years after the parties' signature.
