Calls for applications for coverage with evidence development projects announced in France
On July 15, 2025, the Ministry of Labor, Health, Solidarity, and Families published the instruction related to the application for coverage with evidence development programs (PHRC, PRME, PREPS, PHRIP, and PRT) for 2025-2026.
Evidence development programs are designed to test innovations (feasibility, efficacy, safety, cost-effectiveness) before their implementation in the health care system or provide a framework for managed introduction, with the parallel bridging of key evidence gaps. There are several coverages with research programs in France, including the hospital clinical research program (PHRC), translational research program (PRT), medico-economic research program (PRME), healthcare system performance research program (PREPS), and hospital nursing and paramedical research program (PHRIP).
The instruction details these programs each year. It describes the specific fields of research and application procedures for each call for projects.
The applications for the national 2025-2026 PHRC (PHRC-N), PHRIP, PREPS, and PRME must be submitted via the INNOVARC platform before December 9, 2025.
Information about the calls for projects and applications for the cancer-related programs (PHRC-K and PRT-K) can be found on the National Cancer Institute (INCa) website.
The calendar for interregional PHRC programs (PHRC-I) can be found on the website of the interregional groups for clinical research and innovation (GIRCI), and for the PRT-health program (PRT-S) on the website of the National Research Agency (ANR), as well as on the website of the Ministry of Labor, Health, Solidarity, and Families.
