MTRC has released European reimbursement report for surgical and endovascular treatment of brain aneurysm in 11 EU countries

On July 9, 2024, the updated Finnish classification of procedures (THL) was published to come into force on August 1, 2024. Forty-three new procedure codes were implemented concerning diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, neurovascular, radiology, and other fields.

Our goal at MTRC is to inform the decision-making of our clients and to support their market access activities. Below is a snapshot of our planned activities for the next two weeks. This can help our existing and prospective clients to better understand the potential scope of our support. From the week of 29th of July, we are planning to work on 21 projects. The French National Authority for Health (HAS) released new recommendations about add-on reimbursement of medical devices and medical aids from the meetings of the National Commission for Evaluation of Medical Devices and Health Technologies (CNEDiMTS) in May 2024. Seven recommendations were published concerning the registration of medical devices or modification of registration conditions/extension of indications for the medical devices in the List of Reimbursable Products and Services (LPPR). Opinions concern neurovascular, neuromodulation, endocrine, ophthalmology, and orthopedic devices, as well as medical aids.

MTRC developed an analytical White Paper with a summary of key market access elements of EU5 countries, including stakeholders, payment mechanisms, innovative payment schemes, funding, and the role of HTA for in-vitro diagnostic tests.
