The List of Essential Implantable Medical Devices was expanded in Russia in January 2022

On January 14, 2022, the Government of the Russian Federation released a Decree which approved the changes in the List of Essential Implantable Medical Devices. In 2022, the following three new devices were added:

  • 329050 Implantable pulse generator that delivers controlled electrical impulses in urinary/fecal incontinence;
  • 343440 Bioprosthetic aortic valve/xenoprosthesis;
  • 349640 Synthetic embolization material of vessels located outside the brain.
