The Institute for the Hospital Remuneration System (InEK) published the updated 2024 DRG catalog in Germany

On February 26, 2023, the InEK (Institute for the Hospital Remuneration System) published the updated DRG catalog (Fallpauschalen-Katalog) with the list of DRGs and additional reimbursement categories (ZEs) for 2024.

The only change introduced concerns Annex 3c, which listed the valuation ratios of the hybrid DRGs. The Annex was excluded from the catalog, as the listed valuation ratios are not required to reimburse the hybrid DRGs. The reimbursement is carried out based on the hybrid DRGs implementation agreement (published by the InEK as well) and the hybrid DRG regulation of the Ministry of Health (the latest update was published on December 19, 2023).

The full details in German can be found here (InEK) and here (MoH).
