The medical technologies belonging to the cardiovascular, ENT, eHealth, gastrointestinal, neuromodulation, neurovascular, orthopedic, and other technology groups obtained positive status 1.

On December 16, 2020, the Ministry of Solidarity and Health issued a few Orders on the registration of certain endoprostheses by Cook Medical in the List of Reimbursable Products and Services (LPPR) for add-on reimbursement. Conditions of reimbursement for vascular endoprostheses were specified.

The report presents a summary of reimbursement situation for endovascular repair (EVAR) of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). Only EVAR for unruptured aneurysm is considered. The analysis covers procedure coding, payment mechanism, reimbursement tariffs and policy restrictions in 11 EU countries including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland.

Emilia Romagna Region published a rapid assessment report on the Medtronic’s Heli-FX™ EndoAnchor™ system. The authors concluded that published literature is of poor quality (mainly non-comparative studies) and mostly includes patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm. Data on the use of the device for thoracic aorta aneurysm repair are extremely limited.
