New version of the CCAM Nomenclature published in France

At early September 2023, the new version of the classification of procedure codes (CCAM v.73) was published. Several changes were introduced.

Two new codes were registered under the newly introduced CCAM sub-chapter 17.02.06.02 “Somatic genetic examinations of cancers”, effective from September 14, 2023:

  • ZZQX129 “Qualification of a paraffin-fixed tissue sample for somatic genetic analysis” with the CCAM fee of €36.89;
  • ZZQX201 “Qualification of a frozen tissue sample for somatic genetic analysis” with the CCAM fee of €39.73.

The code HMJE127 “Biliary drainage with the placement of transluminal endoprosthesis for biliogastric or bilioduodenal apposition, by esophagogastroduodenoscopy, with echoendoscopic guidance” with the CCAM fee of €490.96, was provisionally registered for three years from September 14, 2023.

Also, three new grouping codes for 280 dental procedures applicable from October 01, 2023, were implemented.
