Med Tech-related health technology assessments from NIHR in June 2024

In June 2024, the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) in England released three MedTech-related assessments in its Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Journal, which concerned management for non-acute anterior cruciate ligament injury, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and antenatal/newborn screening programs. HTA Journal publishes research reports on the effectiveness, costs, and broader impact of health technologies for those who use, manage, and provide care in the NHS and informs National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance.

Med Tech-related health technology assessments from NIHR in March 2024

In March 2024, the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) in England released four MedTech-related assessments in its Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Journal, which concerned septoplasty in deviated nasal septum, software with AI-derived algorithms for analyzing CT brain scans, KardiaMobile 6L for measuring QT interval, and surgical management of pelvic fractures. MedTech-related health technology assessments from NIHR in February 2022

In February 2022, the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) in England released six MedTech-related reports in its Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Journal, which concerned biomarkers for assessing acute kidney injury, non-invasive testing for neovascular macular degeneration, decision support tool to prevent falls in older people, endometrial scratch, distal radius fracture, and test for group B Streptococcus. 2021 DRG (LKF) model published in Austria

In late September 2020, the Austrian version of the DRG system (LKF) 2021 model with the relevant supplementary documents was published in Austria. For 2021, the main changes include the addition of sixteen new procedure codes and the introduction of two new procedure codes for billing in the day-case settings, update of cases flat rates, and adjustments of the cases daily component calculation.
