The timelines for updating the 2022/23 National Genomic Test Directory are under review in England

In April 2022, NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSEI) announced that the timelines for the evaluation of applications to update the National Genomic Test Directory in 2022/23 are currently under review. However, applications can still be submitted via email to Previously, NHSEI planned to publish and implement the 2022/23 Test Directory by April 2022.

The approach to annual updating the National Genomic Test Directory is effective from December 2020, when NHSEI published the final document for updating National Genomic Test Directory, as well as other documents supporting the application process to amend the Test Directory (guidelines, FAQ, application forms, horizon scanning notification form).
