Rapid HTAs of thirteen medical devices released in Tuscany
The HTA body of the Tuscany Regional Healthcare issues two types of documents: HTA forms and motivational forms. With a regional decree 14763 of August 25, 2021, Tuscany Regional Healthcare has published assessments of thirteen medical devices of various therapeutic areas, including devices belonging to the obstetrics and gynecology field, as well as gastroenterology, urology, cardiovascular, endoscopy, spine, peripheral vascular, and other fields of care.
Below is the list of technologies that have been assessed:
- IntellaNav ablation catheter with force sensor
- RELIEF long-term pleural and peritoneal drainage system
- Hybrid Aortic System (AMDS)
- Stentfix nitinol metal clip system
- Tessys transforaminal endoscopic surgical system
- CompuFlo computerized system for the identification of the epidural space with touch screen
- Epican Paed pediatric caudal anesthesia needles
- Hy Tissue surgical field kit for centrifugation of fat from adipose tissue
- HydroMARK biopsy site marker
- MAGNETIC BLACK STAR double-J magnetic ureteral stent
- WavelinQ system for the endovascular creation of an arteriovenous fistula
- HANAROSTENT fully covered stent for bile duct stenosis
- CICAT non-resorbable monofilament mesh prosthesis in polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)
