Projects on reducing single-use medical products in hospitals in Belgium

On September 8, 2025, the FPS Public Health launched a call for projects "Reducing Single-Use in Hospitals (ReSUH)" aimed at hospitals to initiate concrete actions to reduce the use of single-use medical products as part of a comprehensive approach to sustainability.

Up to 80% of the project’s eligible costs will be funded by the FPS Public Health, with the remainder to be covered by the project lead and/or the partnership. The FPS Public Health has set a budget of about €600,000 to support three to six projects from February 2026 to February 2028.

Applications can be submitted online to ReSUH@health.fgov.be by October 27, 2025.
