Ongoing mini-HTAs in Norway in June 2024
In June 2024, the following ongoing mini-HTA assessments for cardiovascular, diagnostic imaging, e-health, endoscopy, gastrointestinal, in-vitro diagnostics, men’s health, neurology and neurosurgery, neuromodulation, peripheral vascular, pulmonary and airways, robotic surgery, and some other fields are evaluated as a part of a framework for the managed introduction of innovations "New Methods" in Norway. Some examples are listed below:
- Pulmonary vein isolation with Pulsed Field Ablation;
- Robot-assisted ultrasound on pregnant women;
- Use of the artificial intelligence application BoneView (by Gleamer) for analysis of diagnostic images in suspected fractures;
- Breathe Better – A digital tool to strengthen the health skills of people with chronic lung disease;
- Use of artificial intelligence (icobrain MS) for annotation and reporting of MS plaques and volumetry;
- Transarterial radioembolization of liver tumors.
