MTRC released a seminar on reimbursement system for IVD tests in China

China is a very complex market with mostly regional market access activities. 

At the national level, only the scope of covered services is determined. The detailed scope of services and detailed benefit catalogs are established at the level of local administrative units (provinces and cities). 

In out-patient settings, a fee for service model is used for reimbursement of services and in-vitro diagnostic tests.
