Grants for development of National Clinical Guidelines in Denmark in 2018/19

Professional companies and environments can apply for money for the development of National Clinical Guidelines in 2018/19 via the 2017 Finance Act. The Guidelines will provide the latest research and knowledge in selected areas to health professionals to support a consistent and evidence-based treatment of high quality for the benefit of the patients.

In 2017, funding has been granted to three pool participants to develop National Clinical Guidelines for healthcare staff's efforts in establishing breastfeeding, pre-hospital immobilization of adult trauma patients, and treatment of patients with acute gastrointestinal surgical conditions. In addition, funds are expected in February for six additional pool participants. It is anticipated that a total amount of 3,600,000 DKK will be granted.
