Dutch Organization for Health Research and Development awarded five projects under HTA Methodology Program for 2021-2024
To give researchers more tools to assess healthcare innovations' efficiency and demonstrate the effectiveness of novel technologies, the Dutch Organization for Health Research and Development (ZonMw), in collaboration with the National Health Care Institute (ZIN), initiated the HTA Methodology Program for 2021-2024.
From July 12, 2023, until October 03, 2024, ZonMw announced the submission of grant applications to develop a methodology for assessing technologies used in non-curative care to determine the value of technology. A total of €1.3 million was available, with a maximum amount of €200,000 per project for 24 months.
The following five projects were awarded subsidies under this round:
- A new standard for assessing Mental Health QoL for youth: development and validation of the Mental Health Quality of Life-Youth (MHQoL-Y) questionnaire;
- Development of a multi-stakeholder outcome measure for the value of remote patient management;
- Measuring quality of life in people with dementia: which questionnaire and who completes it?
- PROPr Dutch: Developing a country-specific value set for the PROMIS preference system;
- W-MIC: multi-instrument comparison study for well-being measurement in the Netherlands
