Dutch Healthcare Institute (ZIN) implemented the MedTech Horizon Scan to gain a better insight into the arrival of medical technological innovations (MedTech). The objective of the MedTech Horizon Scan is to map the rise of high-risk medical technology for ZIN and all parties in the field. It concerns medical technologies and digital applications that are expected to be seen in healthcare in the next 1-3 years.

The Dutch Healthcare Institute (ZIN) will also use this information for its agenda, such as the further development of basic health insurance package and the clarification of package issues.
