Decisions about add-on reimbursement for medical devices in France in December 2019

The French National Authority for Health (HAS) released new decisions about add-on and medical aid reimbursement of many medical devices from the meetings of the National Commission for Evaluation of Medical Devices and Health Technologies (CNEDiMTS) in December 2019.

Four (4) decisions were released for cardiovascular devices:

  • ANGIOLITE, coronary stent coated with sirolimus (pharmacologically active product) (application for registration, rejected because the provided data do not establish the interest)
  • ROTALINK PLUS, rotational atherectomy system (application for registration, approved)
  • ROTAPRO, rotational atherectomy system (application for registration, approved)
  • PORTICO, aortic heath valve (application for registration, approved)

One (1) decision was released for other devices:

  • FREESTYLE COMFORT, mobile oxygen concentrator (portable) (application for registration, approved)
