The Agency of Health Technology Assessment and Tariff Systems was commissioned to assess the benefit for angioplasty of arteries of lower extremities (femoral and popliteal) with drug-eluting balloons in Poland

On 13th of October of 2017, the Ministry of Health of Poland commissioned Agency of Health Technology Assessment and Tariff Systems (AOTMiT) to assess the benefit of angioplasty of arteries of lower extremities (femoral and popliteal) with drug-eluting balloons.

Ministry of Health will determine the eligibility of angioplasty using drug-eluting balloons for coverage within guaranteed benefits on the basis of health technology assessment and recommendations from AOTMiT.
