The 2024 annual call for changes in the national screening programs now open in the UK

On July 1, 2024, the annual call for proposals to the UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC) was launched. The deadline for applications is September 30, 2024. 

During the annual call period, individuals or organizations can submit proposals for:

  • New screening topics;
  • Requesting an early update for topics that the UK NSC has considered within the past three years;
  • Modifications to, or the ceasing of, existing screening programs.

Proposals can cover population screening, targeted screening, or stratified screening topics.
