2023 version of the Swiss CHOP code nomenclature published

On July 29, 2022, the Swiss Federal Statistics Office (UFS) published the 2023 version of the procedure code (CHOP) nomenclature in the German language. The version in the Italian and French languages will be published in October 2022.

Some examples of newly introduced codes per technology group are provided below:

Cardiovascular

• 35.F2.26 Mitral valve replacement by xenograft (bioprosthesis) with transapical anchorage
• 35.H2.26 Removal of mitral valve prosthesis and implantation of xenograft (bioprosthesis) with transapical anchorage
