2022 DRG tariffs published in France

On April 8, 2022, an Order with 2022 DRG tariffs and tariffs for other packages and supplements were published in the Official Journal of the French Republic. Tariffs are also published by the Agency for Technical Hospital Information (ATIH) in excel and other formats.

2025 Swedish NordDRG system released

In November 2024, the annual update of the Swedish NordDRG system was published to come into force on January 1, 2025. No new DRGs were introduced. In 2025, to obtain DRG tariffs, cost-weights must be multiplied by a base rate of 88,061 SEK.

Recommendations about add-on reimbursement for medical devices in France in November 2024

The French National Authority for Health (HAS) released new recommendations about add-on reimbursement of medical devices and medical aids from the November 2024 meetings of the National Commission for Evaluation of Medical Devices and Health Technologies (CNEDiMTS). Two recommendations were published concerning the registration of new medical devices in the List of Reimbursable Products and Services (LPPR). Opinions were related to breast reconstruction and medical aids.

The DRG tariffs for 2025 released in Denmark

On November 12, 2024, the Danish Health Data Authority published the DRG tariffs for 2025. In accordance with the released documentation, four new DRGs in the fields of radiology, dermatology, and the treatment of functional disorders will be introduced in 2025.
