Dutch Healthcare Institute announced rounds 9 for submission of applications for the Promising Care subsidy scheme

The Promising Care subsidy scheme aims to speed up the patient's access to potentially promising care through temporary inclusion in the basic insurance package. A maximum of €69 million is available annually.

The first step for applying for a grant within the Promising Care subsidy scheme is submitting a project idea that substantiates the purpose and relevance of the research project. If the project idea is accepted, the independent advisory Committee invites these applicants to submit grant applications for the accepted project ideas.

There are two application rounds per year for the Promising Care subsidy scheme. The period for submitting a project idea within round 9 (the first round of projects to be awarded in 2024) of the subsidy scheme for promising care will be open from January 12, 2023, until March 14, 2023. Applicants whose project ideas will be accepted can submit a grant application until September 21, 2023. The decision on applications will be published by March 21, 2024
