Rapid HTAs of three medical devices released in Tuscany

The HTA body of the Tuscany Regional Healthcare issues two types of documents: HTA forms and motivational forms. With regional decree 13241 of July 4, 2022, Tuscany Regional Healthcare has published assessments of three medical devices in the cardiovascular area.

Below is the list of technologies that have been assessed:

• IntellaNav Stablepoint force-sensing ablation catheter for cardiac electrophysiological mapping with a catheter and, when used in conjunction with a radiofrequency generator, for cardiac ablation
• Recross OTW double lumen guide wire support catheter
• TauroPace, antimicrobial solution for bacterial contamination of implantable cardiac devices
