Innovation Committee received 123 project ideas for Innovation Funding in Germany
On June 7, 2021, the Innovation Committee at the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) has reported that 123 project ideas were received for Innovation Funding of the new forms of care within the new two-stage application process framework.
The project ideas that were received concerned the following topics:
- Further development of care through digitization: 25
- Interdisciplinary or cross-sectoral supply networks and pathways: 40
- Psychotherapeutic care for vulnerable groups: 15
- Prevention and care of serious mental diseases: 7
- Lessons from the Covid-19 pandemic for the advancement of care: 5
- A good start in life with networked care: 12
Also, 19 project ideas were received for the open-topic area.
The Innovation Committee is expected to decide which submitted ideas were selected in the fourth quarter of 2021. Those applicants will be invited to prepare a complete application.
