NHSX will additionally fund 32 NHS trusts to transform their digital capability

The Digital Aspirant program was launched by NHSX in 2020 to help NHS trusts raising their digital capability. A total of 27 trusts joined the program in 2020 and will each receive up to £6 million over the duration of the program to deliver their digital ambitions.

In March 2021, additional 32 NHS trusts joined the program. Seven of the newly added NHS trusts will be fully funded and receive up to £6 million over the next three years. The remaining 25 are receiving seed funding of £250,000 to develop their digital strategy and business case.
