Updates on the Danish Treatment Council

The Treatment Council (Behandlingsråd) is a new model for assessing treatment methods and health technologies, expected to become fully operational during 2021. On May 4, 2021, the first meeting of the Treatment Council was conducted. Also, the Treatment Council's Secretariat invites all the interested healthcare stakeholders to attend open online information meetings.

During the first Treatment Council meeting, the method and process frameworks were discussed, and also the policy of impartiality was approved.

Also, currently, the Treatment Council invites all the interested healthcare stakeholders to attend open online information meetings. The content is targeted at the parties who are planning to prepare applications for the assessment of the health technologies and will comprise the overall process description, as well as individual steps the applicant will undergo.

The meetings will be conducted on June 10, August 19, and September 16, 2021, from 9.30-11.30 via Microsoft Teams. Registration via the Treatment Council's e-mail (kontakt@behandlingsraadet.dk) is required.
