Several updates of the list of medical aids and equipment to happen in 2018 in Switzerland

The medical aids and equipment (EMAp) list includes the means and equipment whose costs are reimbursed by the compulsory health insurance (AOMS) and which are used by the insured person alone or with the help of a non-professional person who collaborates in the diagnosis and treatment.

The current list of medical aids and equipment is in force since 1st of April, 2018, and it can be found here (Excel format; in German, French and Italian). This list contains 622 items.

This list will also be updated on 1st of July, 2018, when it will contain 617 items, and on 1st of October, 2018, when many changes will be introduced (both inclusion and exclusion from the list). You can see all the modifications that will come into force on 1st of July, 2018 and 1st of October, 2018 in Italian here.

Finally, the last change will come into force on 1st of January, 2019, when one (1) item will be removed from the list. You can see that change in Italian here.
