NHSX becomes a part of the new NHS England Transformation Directorate

On February 04, 2022, NHSX announced merging with NHS Digital into the new Transformation Directorate at NHS England. NHSX's mission will remain the same - to drive the digital transformation of the NHS and social care. And the status as a joint unit of NHS England and the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) continues.

The creation of the Transformation Directorate, incorporating NHSX and NHS Digital, is being aligned with the wider integration program to bring NHSE, NHS Improvement, NHS Digital, NHSX, and Health Education England together as a single organization.

Moving the content to the new website will take time, so all information on the current NHSX website remains valid and will continue to be maintained until further notice.
