New procedure codes implemented by the Dutch Healthcare Authority in 2020
New procedure codes were implemented in the DRG package for 2020 (RZ20):
- Transprostatic placement of implants for urethral prostatic obstruction, using an implantation system (036522) and transprostatic implant for the reduction of urethral prostatic obstruction (190680)
- CT examination of the neck, including CTA of the neck (083043) and MRI examination of the neck, including MRA neck (083191)
- Fecal microbiota transplant (034681)
- Testicular sperm extraction (TESE) (036773)
- Monitoring the functioning of cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) or external cardioversion defibrillator (LifeVest), including any use of the cardioverter (033311)
- Material codes for pulse generators for deep brain stimulation: implantable rechargeable pulse generator from DBS neurostimulator (190495) and implantable non-rechargeable pulse generator from DBS neurostimulator (190496)
- Resting (120502) and stress (120502) PET-CT myocardial perfusion with volume, ejection fraction (EF) and flow measurements
Six new procedure codes for molecular diagnostics were implemented, including:
- Pathological research - molecular diagnostics on tissues and / or cells on genes and / or micro-organisms at the request of primary care or non-DBC registering specialty (050540)
- Pathological research - simple molecular diagnostics on tissues and / or cells on a limited number of genes and / or micro-organisms (050541)
- Pathological research - simple molecular diagnostics on tissues and / or cells on multiple genes and / or micro-organisms (050542)
- Pathological research - complex molecular diagnostics on tissues and / or cells on a limited number of genes (050543)
- Pathological research - complex molecular diagnostics on tissues and / or cells on multiple genes (050544)
- Pathological research - complex molecular diagnostics on tissues and / or cells on many genes (050545)
