Danish Health Authority has published DRG tariffs for 2019

The Danish Health Authority annually calculates for hospital and outpatient care in the somatic and psychiatric area. DRG tariffs express hospitals' average operating costs within each DRG group. The tariffs are calculated by linking the actual activity and costs.

As the DRG tariff reflects the average national cost, the costs incurred for each hospital can be above and below the tariff. This difference may be due, among other things, to differences in productivity, the composition of patients within the DRG group or methodological differences in connection with the cost estimation of hospitals.
