Belgian KCE developing procedure for assessment of digital health technologies

The Belgian Health Care Knowledge Center (KCE) initiated a study aimed at defining a clear and transparent procedure for the evaluation of digital health technologies in Belgium.

The following research questions will be explored and answered:

  • The current state of evaluation methods for digital health technologies;
  • The use of these systems in the past for the decision-making process and the challenges that they had to face;
  • The most appropriate frameworks that could be adopted in Belgium.

The report is expected to be published in December 2022.
