Belgian INAMI/RIZIV updated the List of reimbursable implants and medical devices
New material codes for extraction catheters were added to the List of reimbursable devices of the Belgian National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance (INAMI-RIZIV) in September 2019.
New material codes and related conditions of reimbursement have been implemented for the following devices:
- Devices will be reimbursed with a generic tariff, without registration on the nominative list
- The following material codes have been applied:
- 174333 - 174344 “One or more extraction catheters with a distal outer diameter greater than or equal to 4 used during delivery 589816-589820 (Percutaneous extraction of a free intravascular or intracardiac foreign body, excluding pharmaceuticals and contrast media, catheter extraction and disposable material) of the nomenclature” with the tariff of €394;
- 174355 - 174366 “One or more extraction catheters with a distal outer diameter of less than 4 used during delivery 589816-589820 (Percutaneous extraction of a free intravascular or intracardiac foreign body, excluding pharmaceuticals and contrast media, catheter extraction and disposable material) of the nomenclature” with the tariff of €791.
