Newly introduced healthcare services in September 2022 in Latvia

On September 1, 2022, the updated “List of state-paid services and their payment conditions” was published in Latvia. All six newly introduced codes concern the provision of services related to COVID-19 and flu vaccination.

The “List of state-paid services and their payment conditions” (Valsts apmaksājamo manipulāciju un to apmaksas nosacījumu saraksts) includes the reimbursable services in Latvia and is updated regularly. The services in this List also have an associated reimbursement tariff. Some of the services (marked with **) are paid in addition to the budget, based on DRG. Services cannot be reimbursed if not present on the List.

The List is updated several times a year. The update from September is the fifth update of the List in 2022.
