Reimbursement summary for angioplasty of arteries of lower extremities

New procedure codes added to the French CCAM Nomenclature

On November 3, 2022, the decision of the National Union of Health Insurance Funds relating to the update of the CCAM Nomenclature of procedure codes was published in the Official Journal of the French Republic. Four new procedure codes were introduced.

In the CCAM sub-chapter 11.02.05.02, "Bone implant placement on the skull and face", two new codes will be added. For example:

  • LAGA381 "Removal of a bone conduction hearing aid implanted in the temporal bone" with the CCAM fee of €106.35.

In the CCAM sub-chapter 06.03.11, "Other therapeutic procedures on the pleura and lungs", two new codes will be added. For example:

  • GFNH214 "Destruction of 2 or more bronchopulmonary tumors by radiofrequency, by transcutaneous route with CT guidance" with the CCAM fee of €307.20.

The decision takes effect 30 days after its publication. An updated version of the CCAM Nomenclature was not published yet.
