Dutch Promising Care subsidy scheme applications accepted since July 27, 2021

12 Jul 2021

The Promising Care subsidy scheme aims to speed up the patient's access to potentially promising care through temporary inclusion in the basic insurance package. A maximum of €69 million is available annually.

The first step for applying for a grant within the Promising Care subsidy scheme is submitting a project idea that substantiates the purpose and relevance of the research project. If the project idea is accepted, the independent advisory Committee invites these applicants to submit grant applications for the accepted project ideas.

The period for submitting a project idea within round 6 (the second round of projects to be awarded in 2022) of the subsidy scheme for promising care will start on July 27, 2021, and will last until September 28, 2021. Accepted project ideas will be announced not later than January 24, 2022. Applicants whose project ideas are accepted can submit a grant application until March 24, 2022.

On July 27, 2021, the Dutch Healthcare Institute (ZIN) will start accepting project idea applications for round 6 of the Promising Care subsidy. The application form for project idea submission and explanation for application (how to fill in the registration form at the ProjectNet website) are available for applicants.
